I have been doing the suggested exercises explained in detail in page 76 through 147 in  Healing Back Pain Naturally by Art Brownstein, M.D., Harbor Pres, Gig Harbor, Washington. 1999. ISBN 0-936197-39-0.

 

 

I believe they are beginning to cure my curvature of the spine (scoliosis) already, even though I have not been faithful to do them all everyday. As a matter of fact, I haven’t gotten all the way through all of them yet. In addition, to exercising for a cure for scoliosis, I am also concentrating on my posture, keeping my shoulders back, head back and my spine as strait as possible. I have felt better this week than I have all spring. I feel a little ridiculous with such posture, but if it helps, I will get used to it; I have suffered way too long with scoliosis.

 

 

I feel taller (possibly only from standing straighter). It would be great to get my height back! I have lost two inches through the years. I also observe that my back hump is less prominent than before. I hope that I am correct and that it is not just wishful thinking.

 

 

I will be going for acupuncture, massage and a chiropractic adjustment next week. I intend to ask those practitioners their opinion on the posture cushion I have found. My chiropractor is also going to show me the x-rays from 5 years ago and compare them to the ones from last week. Hopefully, I will be able to give you some facts on the degree of curvature.
